You jest, my friend, we're not even going to bother making the playoffs for the next 17 years let alone winning a series.

Mariner better have the game of his life.
10 million for 0 goals is bullpoop - senstroll
Marner needs to shed the stigma of being a kid and take his first step into being a responsible and productive adult by doing a giant pile of cocaine before the game tonight |

So I kinda don't want to watch tonight's game.
I'm not sure that the potential of elation from winning would be close to enough to offset to the potential disappointment I would feel if they lost. - TheMussel
It's a train wreck that you can't look away from. |

So you're admitting that Dubas built a better team? - TheMussel
Don’t waste a minute of your life on that slug. He’s deliriously happy when the leafs lose but quiet as mouse when we win. |

See Max is off the meds again and starting early.
Guys have to play with heart. Have to want it more than the other guys tonight. They ahow up they win. They so this laid back not hungry crap for the third straight game we are dead meat. That simple.
Sucks to see Muzz out 3 weeks. Thats a huge bloody blow.
This is it for the core though. Now is the time or Dubas is gonna have to save his own arse with a serious change. |

'' Hall was never going to come to Toronto'', right?
Babcock was a much better coach Keefe has been so far - did better with a much worse team.
Same for Lou vs Dubas - MaximusAurelius
I could counter this with the obvious... But you're a (frank)ing moron, and everything you say is stupid. There's just no point.
Your opinions at least match your actions in wanting the leafs to lose, it'll be nice if they go up a few tonight. That's the point you and your idiotic troll job always disappears. Only here for the misery.... |

the 'play
the top guys' 30mins a night doesnt work if the top guys dont show up.
Babcock was right by making them earn their ice time.
you win hockey games with 4 lines, not 2 FW lines and 4 d-guys.
for the bottom lines getting 5-11mins a game, it's really tough to do something and impact the game. - MaximusAurelius
Help me to understand ... In an elimination game your idea is to not ride the teams best player .. by a longshot, because he's been struggling...and to allocate more minutes to 3rd and 4th line scrubs in the hopes they may, may make something happen...
Well I don't understand that kind of thinking at all. |

I get it, I mean we've seen this train wreck so many times already.. We've become desensitized to it.. Almost like, 'hey look another 18 wheeler going off the cliff....again' |

Much later in the rebuild process.
I don't think Dubas has done a bad job per se, but he hasn't done exceptional.
For the Leafs GM, only exceptional level should be expected, not 'okay-ish'. |

Remember when the Caps had Ovechkin, Backstrom, and Semin? Remember how good they were in the regular season, yet kept failing in the playoffs year after year?
When the Caps finally won, only Ovechkin and Backstrom were still there.
Matthews is our Ovechkin and Nylander is our Backstrom.
Bye Marner. |

Why?
Lose a series you were expected to lose = meh
Lose a series you were expected to win and were up 3-1 = FUUUUUUUK |

Would love to see the Leafs lose, but I am confident they will win. Leafs are a far deeper and better team, relax Leafs fans. They will come out eager to shut the haters up and jump out to an early 2-0 lead then bring it home. - iknowbest
The Dutch team sucks |
