unfortunately won't make a damn difference... if Dubas lacks the intestinal fortitude to make necessary moves in the offseason.

and the problem for Dubas is obvious ... Marner was his worst contract and represents everything that went wrong with how he handled the Nylander contract... and then caved with Marner.

Dubas did do a good job this past offseason adding experience, but don't forget the mess he created with the back-up goaltending situation in previous seasons, when he somehow got it in his head that he'd be fine going with Sparks.

with Rielly and Hyman contracts coming up... its definitely a risk to leave him in charge of those re-signings... hopefully those thoughts are going thru Shanahan's head.
