I get it, I mean we've seen this train wreck so many times already.. We've become desensitized to it.. Almost like, 'hey look another 18 wheeler going off the cliff....again'
- PatC80

The same applies to car chases here... every local network follows breathlessly for hours on end knowing the result with all kinds of graphics that would make an nfl broadcast blush...

Marner needs to shed the stigma of being a kid and take his first step into being a responsible and productive adult by doing a giant pile of cocaine before the game tonight

Would you be satisfied with 3 or 4 assists? Because I sure as hell would.

Yes, if Marner gets 3 or 4 assists tonight I will be really satisfied

Remember when the Caps had Ovechkin, Backstrom, and Semin? Remember how good they were in the regular season, yet kept failing in the playoffs year after year?

When the Caps finally won, only Ovechkin and Backstrom were still there.

Matthews is our Ovechkin and Nylander is our Backstrom.

Bye Marner.

- Steven_Seagull

The only thing Nylander has in common with backstrom is that they are both Swedish...
Nylander should have been traded 2 years ago.

It’s not, get home at 6:55 put some new batteries in my Budweiser Red Light Cup and watch it go off constantly as the Leafs pepper the back of the net.
- Garnie

I didn’t know it goes off during warmup.

Yeah, that's just like being a Leafs fan. We already know the result, but we get excited for the early part of the chase hoping this time it will be different.

I'm sure that would help with Leafs goal-scoring problems in the series...

If that happens, maybe we can blame Campbell or Dermott for giving the puck away or for scoring in his own net

He needs to produce more, given his salary and expectations, but that doesn't have to come specifically by way of goals.

So Nylander is traded, Andersen is starting by now.

We have no Brodie because he's awful defensively, Babcock is still coach... Lou is still GM.

And Max is not president of the team why... 🤔

I see so many non Leaf fans pumped for this game.
once my team is out..I maybe watch an OT here or there..otherwise I dont care....season is over

It's because all of their teams suck, and they need the leafs to keep sucking too so they can be like hey at least we're not Toronto.

It's a sad way to validate your own miserable life but whatever works I guess.

I'd like a goal as well.
But 4 assist should result in a 4 to something victory

I hate the sens, and to a lesser extent the Habs

But when the Leafs are out, I cant tell you when those other teams play..if I see some of the games its by accident

True.
But this game could result in one of the biggest chokes of all time.
Not to often other games have that same possible outcome

Plus it involves a team that so many fans are either jealous of or hate.
