Moreso on the ice. Its not like Keefe could have played the line matching game any better. Not like he was making awful decisions when it came to who played or ate popcorn. He needed to line juggle three games ago. Matthews and Marner weren't jelling and he left them and tinkered with other lines for no reason. But at the end of the day, the players didn't get it done and they need to own that.

I mean he did construct the team so you can't entirely absolve him of responsibility. Then again losing Tavares wasn't in the plans.

However, signing MM to that deal and giving JT that deal to begin with were. I think th e Leafs win with JT but I still don't think it's a well constructed roster.

Matthews is untouchable, Nylander is on a good contract and just had an excellent playoff, Rielly was good as well and I think you play out his contract.
