The only thing that might save Keefe is how they lost those two OT games. I can't remember a team lossing two OT games in the same series, with two worse bone headed plays. I'm still trying to understand what Dermott was thinking he would do, instead of just clearing the zone.

There's no such thing as a smart Leafs fan.

Moreso on the ice. Its not like Keefe could have played the line matching game any better. Not like he was making awful decisions when it came to who played or ate popcorn. He needed to line juggle three games ago. Matthews and Marner weren't jelling and he left them and tinkered with other lines for no reason. But at the end of the day, the players didn't get it done and they need to own that.
