I thought Kerfoot was better then Marner in this series.

Foligno, Thornton and Simmonds were guys added to add grit and leadership, not produce like a top 6. That was Marner and Matthew's job and they failed.

just a quick observation… Leafs spent draft capital they don’t have … a 1st on Foligno & signed Wayne train, when all they had to do is keep Martin around for that presence … to me that was a poor decision, he’s done well with Isles.

The Kadri trade while necessary didn’t really bring about the desired results - trades are like that though…

Jumbo was a desperate move from the start … and didn’t work at all.

Some pretty frank conversations gonna be needed this summer…

Seems like there could be a fit with the Jackets. A Jones or Werenski maybe. I could see the Jackets wanting someone who is under contract for a while with how everything has played out over the last few years. Not saying it's at all happening but there are options, just depends how the Leafs assess their season. But unless it's a deal that significantly makes the team better I still think there's a good argument for keeping him and being patient.

This is exactly my point. I don’t even feign to say I watch as many Leafs games as you guys and I think he’s a great player but you guys are so down on him I don’t see how any team just has 11M to give him or the assets to trade for him, especially that makes sense for you guys.
