Trading marner for Eichel doesnt provide much cap relief.
Plus marner will be a leaf killer 6 times a year.

I agree. If they really feel they need to trade Marner and I would love to see him on the Island I would imagine it would be for blue chip prospects and possibly number 1 draft picks to help with cap relief.

After about 5 mins after the fight, the leafs picked up their play.
Then went on to win 3 games in a row.
Who's knows what impact it had.
Up until he was injured, he had 4pts 7 reg season games
1pt in 4 playoff games doesnt look good.
But his actions did provide a boost to the team and removed and further cheapshots that game.

Wait, you're blaming Keefe for trying to run with the horses that brought him there? Leafs needed their best players to be their best players and they weren't.

Nylander, Kerfoot and Spezza were our best forwards, that is not all on Keefe... Sure, he could have given more ice time to Nylander throughout the series, but in game 7, he had Willy with Matthews and Marner..

What adjustments did Keefe make? If something fails over and over, you need to change it - that's on the coach. Did not seem like Keefe made any adjustments to me.

but Laf didnt have a great year...it would have to be more coming back imo

Hate the leafs but enjoy watching Marner Mathews and Hyman play. POV though they can still win without Marner
