I'd trade Marner in a heartbeat, especially if they could add and get a top Dman. Next I'd trade Tavares because although he's really good who really needs 2 #1 C's. You could get a boatload for him.

Some teams are desperate just to get into the playoffs so maybe they want Marner. Could also use it as a opportunity to dump a bad contract on the Leafs in the package

Rather lose the way the Canucks lost than saying at least they made the playoffs, can you imagine the hysteria if Canucks go up 3-1 to lose 4-3.

I never thought he was a good signing for the Leafs, actually called it a fatal mistake at the time just because it disrupted the building of the team despite accelerating the timeline. Money much better spent elsewhere.
