Matthews is still a helluva player and the entire Habs focus was defending against him. Marner is a dud like he's always been. I agree Danault is a beast as a 3C, problem is he doesn't want that role. I'd be down with signing him but I think he wants way too much $$.

Mitch Marner is undersized is why he is no good. Matthews is oversized is why he isnt any good. You have to be optimal size to be in the NHL.

Thats why Malkin has had a piss poor career. Never weighed enough, to thin.
