And that’s why you throw pucks at net.

Terrible angle. Varly was good tonight........until that shot.
- JohnScammo

Just a brutal goal. The law of averages caught up to the Isles with OT games.

We did it to them last game so gotta regroup and get the next one.

That’s unacceptable play by JGP imo. Too soft name let him shoot. Been tough entire game let up one play and it’s over. Fuking sucks.

Not typically a lot of concern for a player firing a shot from a harmless angle like that. Varly was great tonight after a kinda shakey start. He carried the Isles but just as soon as they seemed to have found their game he blew it. Tough loss.

Shouldn't have given McAvoy all that time in the neutral zone, pressure him and its a dump in, he was changing

Agreed, should have checked him there. Tough break, surprised Varly as well.

Barry and the team will need to regroup and hopefully Wally is back and a possible new 1st line to get Rask more trouble.

He’s so tough to figure out. He made some unreal saves, they’re not in ot without him but both goals were soft.

Wishful thinking. Prob keep going with what’s got us here. Possibly see Wally but who knows. Man that was a tough way to lose.

Heh, I think if they throw Wally back in, it will be for Zajac. They aren't changing that top lone no matter how much we want them to

So disappointed in that sequence. As upstate started w mcaviy going through neutral zonw unscathed and went down hill from there.

Varly has given up some bad goals these playoffs. He did give the team every chance to win before that play. Hopefully the offense gives more support next game.

Yeah, the first one was a weird fluttering shot that he seemed to have trouble tracking. He was amazing after that, but the winner was awful. No NHL goaltender should get burned on an angle like that.....
There's plenty of blame to go around, but Rask was the difference

This 1st line has not gotten us there though. Would love at least one period with a new 1st line.

Possible Barry throws Wally on Barzals left wing. JGP’s line with Palms and Zajac are playing well so leave them and give Wally a shot up there. With the other 3 lines set it not far fetched.

Would not be surprising. Isles can win with either goalies and either goalie will should not be the issue.

Shat happens. Mistakes are made or every game would be 0-0.
I still believe they can win this series. A lot of hockey still to be played.
