I would take Guenther over Eklund. Different players but Guenther has higher ceiling. Cole Sillinger a natural center is completely forgotten about. Guy was 1.5 ppg on a brutal USHL team. I would take him many spots ahead of Mctavish. - manvanfan
I was wondering about him

Bob's rankings are always still the closest and right now he has him at 13 i believe. I have him i think at 14. - manvanfan
Bob still hasn't done his final rankings yet. The NHL rankings are quite different. They have McTavish at #2 NA skater, Beniers #6, Sillinger #10. Opinions are all over the map. Someone always goes goes off the board. Lets see if super scout can take advantage of his peers picking ahead of him. . |

I straight up don't want MacT at 9oa. He is hyped thanks to playing with a generational talent at u18s. There is at least 12 players that have higher ceilings than him. - manvanfan
What do you think of jake Martin out of the US? Read he has some real upside |

With so many player a wide range of games and wider than normal range of competition. It will be all over the board.
I went about gathering more knowledge about the different leagues to aid in comparing players. I think it has helped put their seasons with their abilities in better perspective for me this year. |

I can't say too much about him. I watched some clips. He seemed to have enough potential to make my list but he is someone i would look at 3rd round or later. |

If people want some skill players who play on the edge, anyone have thoughts on Zachary L'Heureux or Tyler Boucher?
Boucher is more of a mid 2nd range from what I read. And L'Heureux is projected to go around the mid first I believe? |

L'Heureux is a nice player, from around 20th onwards. |

Rod Brind'Amour used to live up the street from me, so I also know of someone at one of the draft tables. |

I would be the 1st in line for his Jersey.
Was really hoping for Edvinsson, but more than happy if Canucks take McTavish. |

I use to do some work for Stan Smyl's neighbour and I would say hi to him all the time, so I know someone at a draft table, too. |

I drove Geoff Courtnall home from a party, and have served dinner to Jurki Lumme, plus I’ve watched a lot of game’s in my life when these players were playing, they all call me to tell me what the strategic direction of the organization is on a wide variety of topics. |

Guenther is interesting. Doesn’t really fill this teams “needs” but if he’s there at 9, he might be the best talent available.
I’ve seen comments from people who follow the WHL closely that say he’s a top 5 talent in this draft. That could just be them being WHL homers though. |

He's an EDM boy, maybe the Coiler's want to trade up if super scouts guy is further down the board. Let's see how good JB's gun slinger skills are? |
