Isn’t this draft supposed to be kinda wacky? I don’t thing I could confidently say who won’t be there at 9 outside of maybe like 3 players lol

Guenther is interesting. Doesn’t really fill this teams “needs” but if he’s there at 9, he might be the best talent available.

I’ve seen comments from people who follow the WHL closely that say he’s a top 5 talent in this draft. That could just be them being WHL homers though.

Honestly just started diving into the prospects over the past couple of weeks, out of the guys I’ve looked at so far I like Guenther or a trade down for L’Heureux. Still looking into Guenther though lol

Haven’t looked into the favs here..McTavish or Edvinsson.

I don't think Mctavish will be there at 9 - but if he is....I'd go for him. To get 11 points in 13 games (9 goals) in that league is very good let alone at 18 years old.

Mathews had 36gp 24g 22a 46p in his draft year there.

Plus he's 6'2 over 200 pounds and a center....yes please

A forward for sure. Clark, Edvinsson (don’t like), Hughes and Power will be gone. Definitely a preference for a center like Mctavish or the Russian. I’d be ok w Eklund or Johnson as well I suppose.
