It's out there, read up on the guy. Power is a surprise lol. I can however see someone grabbing the Goalie earlier though.

Rod Brind'Amour used to live up the street from me, so I also know of someone at one of the draft tables.
- Reubenkincade

Newel Browns son played for the Rockets and hung around our house, so I almost got an inside track at the Canuck table.
I’ll text him now and see who they’re taking.

Guenther is interesting. Doesn’t really fill this teams “needs” but if he’s there at 9, he might be the best talent available.

I’ve seen comments from people who follow the WHL closely that say he’s a top 5 talent in this draft. That could just be them being WHL homers though.

- Nucker101

He would be a perfect future RW for Bo. That is a need.

The more important question, and one I can’t believe you lot have overlooked, but who will they select with their two, yes two 5th AND 6th round selections?!?!

Pretty dirty, looked like Hughes on that play

If he did poop like that here often enough, he'd still be around, but an undersized defensive dman will always be bouncing around the league.

Mine the US high-school, because 1 player has 9 professional games under his belt.
Any good scouting organization is searching everywhere, around the world, including the Red Deer Rink Rodent, that has a 93 mph wrist shot..

You can tell, he's in the range on a few though.

No one will get the top 10 correct, that's all we need to be concerned with.

One or two teams will go off the board.

I’d be quite happy to get Eklund at 12 but would be pissed they didn’t take
Powers instead.
I’ve looked at lot of mock draft and most have the Canucks picking McTavish

Benning:

“I would say there’s nine guys we really liked in this year’s draft, and we’re excited to draft any of them,” Benning told The Athletic on Wednesday. “Maybe after that it’s not quite so clear, but there’s nine guys we really like and we know we’re going to get one of those nine guys.”

“We’ll keep all of our options open as we’re talking to teams, trying to make the team better,” Benning said when asked directly by The Athletic on Wednesday about the potential for trading the ninth pick. “I can’t answer that now. It would have to be a really good player to move the pick.”

Maybe hold off on putting your picks in on who they choose at 9? lol

Benning, like any good GM, will definitely shop the 9th pick around, if he can acquire another player who can make an impact like J.T. Miller, you make that deal.

You need to be getting a better player than Miller back for 9 OA
