I dont have it backwards at all. Tampa isn't going to trade their 2nd best defenseman (who is on an extremely team friendly contract with term). They would sooner trade Stamkos than they would cernak. The whole cernak thing seems so silly.

Imo, Kent Johnson has the most skill of all the players in this draft.

I know there are 15 players on the Canucks roster (or at least played some games in some cases like OJ, Rathbone, lockwood and lind) drafted by JB. How many Treliving picks are in the Flames roster? There are teams that have been draftimg well for a long time like tbay that have many picks in their lineup. So many good picks they seem to loose them for nothing such verharsteeg and volkov

Absolutely. I think the Kraken are going to have a field day with tampa and a few others. I'd look into palat if the price was reasonable, low-key one of the better defensive wingers in the league.

McDonough is getting older and slowing down. Cernak provides grit and physicality, something sergachev (rarely does), hedman and McDonough (don't really do). Even if he's 3rd best, which is arguable, hes a great 2nd pairing defenseman at 24 years old and a sub 3mill cap hit. He's not going to be traded
