If you can even call it that. Imagine the Vegas trade went through, and we acquired an extra 2nd rounder to go back one spot and grab glass and vegas pulled a fast one and picked pettersson. We were a deal away from losing our number 1 and Calder winning center lol

Hoglander was considered to be a bit of a faller, but Benning overruled Brackett to pick him. Rathbone wasn't some faller.

It will be interesting to see how the scouting department holds up this year with nobody in charge. It didn’t really matter much last year with no early selections.
