The Neanderthal Islanders are getting exactly what they deserve. No offensive talent. I have never seen so many dirty ugly goals scored by any one team and I have been watching hockey a long time I saw the first Penguin game back in 67. If hockey was played like this nobody would watch. They probably would have made Gretz a grinder on the third or fourth line. Just awful

Agreed, JGP was soft on Marchand as were all the Islanders on the ice at the time and it started in the neutral zone letting McAvoy hang on to it unchallenged letting Marchand jump on the ice and eventually score. Not what we have come to know as Islanders hockey under Trotz and Co.
