I find it funny too because I don’t think Woo has a snowballs chance in hell of sticking in the NHL. He’ll get a look or two but will probably end up playing in Europe. - bloatedhefty
I was actually laughing at the 2 on 1 defending comment, in regards to Woo, I can't say, as I haven't seen any of his play for a couple years now. |

Nope, he should have got 5 minute major, Barzal should have got a double minor for the crosschecks.
I also think Krejki should have been given a game misconduct. - Reubenkincade

Just because the Bruins are my other team, I am not going to defend everything they do, just like I don't do that with the Canucks. |

There’s a reason why that’s happened… because there is nothing to see. If he was showing signs that he was a NHL player he would get much more press.
Secondly, if OJ is having difficulties cracking the Canucks roster then Woo has no chance. Green generally doesn’t play the prospects so you know very few will make the roster over the next two years.
Another factor is that JB loves his scraps. He’s more likely to fill defensive roster spots on reclamation projects jettisoned by other teams.
Saying that, I hope I’m wrong. But I ain’t. |

Loverboy is sooooo underrated. One of the great Canadian contemporary rock bands. |

Cool story. Even if he doesn't make the NHL. I like the way he plays enough to make the trip to Abby to watch him. |

I’m a Canucks homer but not when it comes to penalty calls.
Never was a fan of refs in the PO’s being obviously guided on how to call games. It’s that or they get PO assignments by being gutless & take the easy way out calling lesser penalties or not at all. It’s like the league rewards them for not impacting games unless absolutely necessary.
Idgaf if it’s the PO’s. A penalty is a penalty & only in the NHL do the refs look to ignore or downgrade. I don’t like any game being PP’s left & right but if players earn it then call it. There are many things that can slide if it goes both ways. |

OJ was behind Hughes & Edler.
Rathbone was held back so OJ was on the roster.
3 things...
-Hughes was Hughes
-Edler a placeholder with no other option to replace him.
-3rd pairing was nothing special & the real problem holding back kids. Wtf was the point?
Summary: The D sucked on defence blocking kids from gaining experience. The taxi squad offered up a unique opportunity that was wasted. That goes on TG/Baumer. Mak & I are both happy lol |

He only needs to keep improving & be very steady to be a good top 4 compliment. Let the other stuff come. Focus on what will get him into the show. Smart physical D. |

By all means go to Abby to watch. Just don’t expect much. If he does show the slightest chance of being an NHL player he will be packaged up in a trade for a known commodity. Guaranteed. |

Woo had a more impressive rookie season than OJ in Utica and it wasn’t close. OJ was a disaster defensively. The only thing your comments prove is that you have never watched Woo play. |
