Wasn’t there something about cap space that kept OJ out of the lineup? I’m pretty sure Green said he couldn’t use OJ more because there was no room for him.

If so it's still damning, just not necessarily for him

Injuries bad luck & covid geez OJ has had some hurdles lol

Lets give him 1 full year & let him settle in. After all he hasn’t been down trodden over it all.

Mason McTavish or Chaz Lucius

2 C’s with at least 1 dropping to us. Grab which one?

I like McT for size & mean but my gut says Lucius is flying under the radar. Either way I like either if picked.

You have been talking to yourself over this for pages now. Make up your (frank)en mind or something. Everybody has said who they liked days ago.

Plus maybe both guys are gone before 9…

I honestly don’t care, it will be “a good player”

This whole Benning getting fired talk is tiresome, Aquillini has shown nothing but support for Jim during this past season.

Seems like some fans are just trying to speak it into existence.

In 6 weeks it will determined 1 by 1 who will be there.

Until then I don't think speculating on every page in every blog is going to come up with who or who won't be there.

I will be happy with anyone in my top 15 picks and hope they don't suck.

There are 3 good series going on right now and one poop one. Can you guess which one is poop? 😆

Heard a few names that have been talked about but i heard an interesting front office name none Canuck related. Danny Briere is looking to get into front office. Smart player. Maybe a smart hockey mind to run a team...

Well Danny Briere always performed in the PO's maybe that could translate to the front office...

I get you keep the twins together on the ice. They share a certain kinetic connection (and it showed). But do they have to be executives at the same time? I mean, can they not think independent of each other? Do they share a brain?

Does anyone else think this is strange?

Yes, they're not conjoined twins FFS.

Anyway, it's a PR move to distract from the dumpster fire in the front office.

This might be true, but they are actually smart guys, and as long as they aren’t learning the ropes from Jim, they should be ok.

Yup. The Canucks have become a training centre for inexperienced NHL management hopefuls. I yearn for strong, experienced, and confident leadership on this team. For whatever reason it’s been missing since Burkie left.

Not that Burke was anything special and he certainly had his (frank)ups like the Bert contract negotiations. But at least you always knew who was in charge.

Don't disagree that they're smart but doing anything connect to this current management group will taint their legacy. As day by day Jim is the GM, he will be mentoring them way way or another.

I can’t see Jim being much of a teacher.

Sedins: “Hey Jim, what’s the best approach when creating a master plan for your team? Do you use a 5, 10, or 15 year vision to set goals by and what metrics to you use to gauge success?”

None, all 4 series are good, lighten up on people trying to get people to engage in discussions.

If you can put up with 500 posts a day on Benning this, Benning that, you can put up with prospect talk for 2 months.

I think they've all been good and entertaining for different reasons. Love watching some of the great Goaltending at this time of year and the intensity of the players.
