Same up here, logging roads the best place for long off-leash walks. - Marwood
Yup.
We just have to be very aware of running into bears, wolves, cougars, Coyotes and wolverines. Even the Martins can be ferocious when they have to be.
Good thing I have the dog with me, when I take her for a run. |

I hope you down south group like this trade proposal.
The Pacific Northwest trades the next 4 weather days, in exchange for your next 4 days of weather. |

I remember in Terrace that porcupines were a concern. Cougars & bears are a worry here. A lot of dogs wearing bear bells in the forest. |

that one was for you and Rueben. Kind of ticked it took you both so long to respond. - bloatedmosquito
You still haven't.... |

Yes. If we were selecting 10th we would forfeit the pick. Basically only 9 decent players so it would be worthless - CanuckDon
Unless Montreal and Phoenix were picking ahead of us. |

Ya, I didn't want to make a blog comment on the wildlife around this area...you know me, always short and to the point.😁 |

Seattle blogger with this trade proposal for Marner:
the second overall pick this season, a second round pick, Devon Toews, and T.J. Oshie
I think it's a bit of an overpayment, but not a bad idea for Seattle to take on a young star player |

Lol.
Toews is in Colorado and Oshie in Washington, unless the idiots at the Athletic are dreaming up all kinds of expansion draft scenarios.
Not sure why people pay for that crap we do it here for free, usually better proposals, as well. |

Crazy spring so far. We had no snow two weeks before spring, 1 snowfall in spring that lasted a day and haven't had a solid frost in a month maybe.
My peaches are already the size of marbles and should have fresh strawberries in a week. |

Nice.
I got 1 strawberry out of my garden before the week of rainfall, with an expected rainfall of at least 3 days, before a reprieve... of one (frank)ing day.
Surprised that some of my plants are still alive. |

We've had a ton of rain since February but it's slowing down. I have peach leaf curl again due to the excessive cool weather and rain but then again 30 years ago you couldn't grow stone fruit here.
El Nina affects us differently from you. The waters are warmer in the Atlantic so the area warms more quickly. Apparently no icebergs for newfoundland this year. |

I’m assuming that those are the expected expansion picks from those teams. |

You, sir, are a moron who is blinded by his own hatred.
First, that is from the Seattle blogger on Hockeybuzz. This site that you're on that has "usually better proposals". So, fail one.
Second, you are right about those players being on those teams... before the Seattle expansion draft. This is a *shock* expansion proposal trade. From Seattle. So, fail two.
Thirdly, I appreciate Carol's work, but it pales in comparison to what The Athletic is able to deliver across all sports – Canucks included – for insanely cheap. Arguably, fail three.

The Seattle blogger trolling the fact that in less that 2 months they'll have the more trade bait than any other NHL team. |

What’s the odds that JB had nine players on his want list and he got 9th place in the draft lottery? Phenomenal really. - bloatedmosquito
In fairness to JB , he said that day or so before the lottery, so happy we didn't drop |
