Parros to review hit by statsny after the 3 rd Montreal goal
No play on puck hit was 1/2 second late. Intent was to hit player not prevent goal.
Statsny’s frustration got better of him.
4 game suspension - Jetter
Wonder how long a suspension George Parros, ex-Hab will give? |

Oh oh, not having confidence in the Jets winning makes you a fair weather fan according to Jetsnation. - TheUltimateJet
Oh, I'm not a fair weather fan. Trust me! I live an die with our Jets. However I say what I see and feel.
Should the Jets come back and win four in a row I will get down and push a peanut down Portage Ave with one of my lower body parts. But not sure that is about to happen.
Not anywhere near enough desperation and energy! |

I am wondering where the fight in this team went. I thought for sure that the Scheifele suspension would polarize this team and get them all fired up.
Also for those that do not think advanced analytics matter, just look at this series, we are totally being outcoached. I am hoping that Maurice has a lucky horseshoe hidden somewhere else because we are going to need it all.
Montreal finished 18th overall in the league. This team is garbage and for the fact that Perry is on this team makes me hate it more. Last thing I want is to be swept that piece of garbage again! |

We won four straight against the Oilers. Nothing suggests that it can’t happen again! - TheUltimateJet
Yes it could happen - but don't bet the family farm. We would have to come out with more desperation for one thing, and start winning those puck batt;es.
Problem is the Habs have four big, tough d-men who the Jets forwards seemingly want no part of. Not going to score from the perimeter on Carey Price when he can see the puck. But the Jets knew that going in.
Are they going to come out and battle hard, or go down softly? That is the question. If the Jets are serious about coming back, they got to come out and hit the first Hab they see on the first shift tomorrow night. Let them know they've come to play.
Whether that will help, I'm not sure, but it can't hurt. Still "hoping" for a comeback but ??? Things like effort have to change! |

I hate Perry probably more then anyone but it isn't fair to call the Habs team garbage, the Jets have gotten really overrated and I think that's clouded your judgment Ultimate.
Montreal finished 18th, the Jets were 14th and finished the season with just four more points then Montreal did so there isn't that much difference, the Habs are a better built and deeper team then the Jets are and frankly they've got more guys that'll go to the damn net! |

Pat, he doesn't fit *anywhere* well, what with the whole "micropenis" issue, and all... |

oh, hadn't noticed this comment... now this will make a potential sweep tomorrow even sweeter - Pat1993
Sure you didn't. The post was mentioned in your own teams thread almost an hour before you commented in this teams thread.
It was also mentioned as a more generic post that everyone felt that way. I saw one person post anything of the sort. |

I see what you are saying. I don’t necessarily think they are built better than us. Probably better coached for sure! |

Forgotten is that the Habs are missing Tatar and Drouin (although Drouin may not really be much of a loss).
I guess having big dinosaur defencemen is working for them. We can't (or don't want) to go near their net and their forwards have total freedom in front of our net.
Good thing we don't have Heinola and Niku in the lineup.
It's going to be an interesting off-season.

Are you kidding me? The transition game from the backend to the forwards has been atrocious. |

Game 1 guess who played the least PP mins out of these 4
Appleton
Copp
Perrault
Ehlers
If you guessed Ehlers you are correct!
Maurice has big issues with loyalty vs potential results .....also why does Forbort play 9-12 more mins per game than Stanley? - jjonah
I agree with you to an extend. Ehlers should be leading all forwards in TOI. I was happy to see Appleton, and Copp getting more TOI because Wheeler has been clumsy, and Dubois has been an absolute joke when on the ice. Misses every hit attempt by a mile, dogs it on the backcheck, and takes careless penalties. I am normally critical of Lowry, but he was the only guy trying to drag the rest of the Jets into the fight. There was no pulse, and the Jets stacked forwards have been held off way too easily. This is the type of series where the Jets greatly miss Tanev. Jets need greasy goals and net front presence.
What about Benn!!! The guy is horrible, and has been a big part of some major breakdowns. Jets are 2-8 when he suits up thus far in the experiment, while Heinola sitting on the shelf. I agree Stanley can carry more minutes.
I am one of the delusionals that still thinks the Jets can battle back, but serious changes need to be made to address their lackluster efforts.

Wasn’t a fan of the Dave Lowry hire. I’m still not a fan. He hasn’t shown much of anything to give me confidence. However, the recency of it will allow me to accept it if he stays for another year or two.
Maurice, Huddy, Kompon, and Flaherty all have to go. |
