Some of this I don't agree with!!! - Buff36
That was an impressive collection of poopty opinions in such a short article LOL
apparently owen power had a dominant world championship
gerard gallant was the head coach
sabres have the first overall pick
gallant did some excellent work as head coach for three different teams (clb, fla, vgk) and never had a losing record (edit: he did in clb)...he also took the expansion golden knights to the scf in 2018

where's the garbage can - TheSabresTaco
I don't like that trade idea at all either.
And to be fair he said that if we were drafting Power than we could entertain the idea of moving Dahlin if it brought back a 1C. I don't disagree with that, but it would have to be one of the premium prospects that we talk about as a return for Jack. You'd at least have to think about it.

He absolutely should.
If he doesn't, I myself would want to understand why.
That said, assuming they go you g team route, I still like The Don.

Like Kevyn, I will entertain every offer. But to logically move Dahlin, I feel like you'd need to add to him and get.. well.. a Jack Eichel.

Dregs says there's coaching candidates still in the playoffs and in Latvia for the WC. Either way, some require their teams' approval to be interviewed. Coaching candidates that the Sabres are directly interested in.
Not much, but relatable considering Gallant just came up.
