That’s fair. I saw the replies from the Buffalo thread. Just would like that pick to get moved for more of a guarantee especially with the cap space Detroit has.

I actually think some over there are a little nuts if they think teams are gonna give up a 1st next year without protection atleast top 5. Suppose to be a very good graft next year.

I really don’t know and it probably depends on the direction Buffalo decides to go in and how Detroit prospects not named Raymond or Seider are valued.

Definitely doesn’t include an unprotected 2022 1st.

Maybe Stevie takes 2 goalies in round 2 Maybe he trades for someone's prospect goalie, maybe he takes on Tyler Johnson with Cerelli as a sweetener, Maybe he trades Neilsen for KO (BS retains $2M) and the BS 2nd,

They are progressing, I think Veleno makes the team next year unless Stevie acquires another C. Berggen will start in GR and get a cup of coffee in the NHL.

What is there projection in your opinion, are they both top6. Are they as good of players as Bernier projects.

Veleno got a cup of coffee at the end of the season and showed he belongs in the NHL imo. Berggren had I believe a top 10 U21 season in SHL history. Will be interesting to see his transition to NA.

I would say both have 2C potential with Veleno being more likely to meet that. Bernier projects higher because he has more time to hit his potential.

That's the bad thing about this draft and everything that has happened with covid, really hard to project these prospects. Some teams are gonna get some good players in the 2nd and 3rd rnds, maybe even later.

Just a quick thank you. Seeing fans from other teams on this board is such a blessing. Thanks everyone for dropping in

👍

Wings coming along ok. Pain before the good days to come.

A high goalie prospect a definite need & always more C’s. Will Stevie Y take a goalie? Idk
Is a trade down then take Wallstedt an idea? I’d hope so.

There are plenty of goalies in FA each year. Draft them in the 2nd or later rounds. Goodrueau and Kolosov will be there in the 2nd, draft them both there if both are available! Wings need LD and center help first.
