Honestly, think they should have started at the top. Just kidding about being fired. It’s literally in the job description of NHL Executives:

-Provide leadership and direction in your department.
-Be a positive influence on employees and in the community.
-Be prepared to be fired, because it will happen sooner than later.
-Encourage growth and development from players and other team members.

I mentioned Don Granato as a guy who could be a good assistant if Buffalo moves on. Muller would be a good candidate. Dave Lowry maybe. If they decide not to bring back the same people, I hope they cast a wide net and interview several people. Maybe what’s his name from Utica as a next step to the NHL?

I haven't looked too deep into it but there must be a group of guys currently in the AHL/Europe with experience about to take the next step that would be an upgrade on Baummer. Honestly, I'd just like to find a D coach who's been a winner, at some level. Thats the thing with NB he was a fringe NHLer for 15 years & never won s&it in his career.

Muller would be an upgrade on Brown IMO - hopefully a few necessary changes happen.

What a difference once Mangiapane joined the team. I'd love to find a way to steal Comtois out of Anaheim - kids gonna be a beast in the near future. Nice to see Stecher have a strong tourney - I think at some point he's gonna have a great career in Europe - he's much better suited for the big ice. All in all not a very strong team considering some of the players that declined.

Watched a fair amount of Anaheim games this year because I like John Gibson and Ryan Miller. They aren't getting rid of Comtois anytime soon. He's one of their better players.
