I don't have the answer to what they should do but I don't think bringing in a five new five mil center that scores less than 10 goals is the answer. - VANTEL
Theres managable upgrades though, i dont know the answer either but theres options and we just need kids to keep improving so the bottom 6 pitches in. I think a veteran center not overpaid short term is a decent wat to go |

That is correct . Hughes 21 . Petey22 . Hoglander 20. Rathbone 22. Podkolzin 19 . You are not winning the cup next year but you can be hitting the top 10 .
If I had a choice I would want Eklund at 9 but he will likely be gone . I really like Dach in the second he is something this team really needs. Most of his scoring comes from the hashmarks and he spends a lot of time in front of the net. He hits he will fight and still vey young (growing still 6'3). |

Agree it requires balance. You do need some vets on the third and 4th lines than can contribute in PO's. Third line scoring is huge in playoffs. It can be done but will take time. We had a good mix in PO's last year with Sutter, Beagle and Rousell but their time is done. Now we have to round it out again. It can be done. |

Agreed. Top line healthy is good, was dominant a year ago. Bottom 6 needs work. D needs work. - neem55
Bottom 6 will come around. Needs are a RHD and a 3LC. Priority. In the short term JTM is fine as a 'fill in' centre but not long term by a mile. Stick with Petey and Bo and work it out. I could see Benning going after Reinhart but will it be worth the cost? |

Kracken blue? Or Flyer blue? - 1970vintage
Looks like your not too popular here either. Personally I have never seen anybody look as foolish as Nucker 101, Flyers, Canucks, Kraken and all kinds of dumb comments. I wrote him off years ago and he is still surfacing. Pound sand Nucker |

Probably not. Not a guy that will age well due to foot speed either imo. Love the connection with his dad but id pass. |

I think Benning will take a run at Reinhart or someone else. I would myself prefer to keep the pick and go at a top 6 guy elsewhere but I think if Benning comes out of the blocks and has a 3- 7 start then the chants will be there to get rid of him. The team really needs as few distractions as possible and start getting back on track. |

Going to be interesting . Last year FA may have lost 150 mil (guesstimating) so maybe they said lets not make it 160 mil by bringing in a new GM. Next year with fans coming back it could change his thinking if fans are staying away or booing every game.
Interesting talk . Gonna head er in now . Have a good one. |

VGK is imposing their will & game on the Av’s. They’ve no answer for it at this time. They got to learn to battle & keep it simple. Puck possession is everything. VGK has adjusted & if the Av’s don’t they will get ground under VGK style. Tightening up their free flowing game & win more battles will be needed. VGK is relentless & so will the Av’s need to be. They miss Kadri.
The Canucks showed resiliency & bent but didn’t break. Av’s have more overall talent than the Canucks have & need to do the same. |

How many games do you think Montreal will win against the winner of that series, 1, 2, 3 or 4? |

Hey Loadsey, what did I tell you about the Knights? That it wouldn’t be easy but they would wipe the floor with those pansy Avs. |

Habs can skate with them both. Opportune goals & Price. Making Jets frustrated. Do all the above & my guess be 2 against VGK the Av’s maybe 3 probably 2.
Realistically lose 4-1 |

The Av’s will come out with a ton of speed early. They’ll need to get VGK on their heels again. If not the Knights will grind em down again. I’m expecting much much more banging game 5. |

Agreed on puck possession, vgk clogged the middle and ruined the transition game. Avs gotta pivot here |
