For old times sake, I would like to see a Bruins-Habs final.😁 - Reubenkincade
Not likely I’d put money on that lol
I’d like Av’s/TB being it a great match up with TB too much to handle. Don't like VGK being gifted the expansion rules & GM’s caving to them. NYI in 7 over Bruins my guess. Something about them this year & the Trotz factor. NYI be the last team TB would like to play imo. NYI upsets TB. Wouldn’t that piss off Tavares 😂😂
So VGK/NYI & sure I’ll be wrong. |

How many games do you think Montreal will win against the winner of that series, 1, 2, 3 or 4? - Reubenkincade
They are 9 wins away with a healthy Carey Price and 3 vets who have all led their teams to Stanley cups. If they win tomorrow they should get a rest before the next round. You never know. |

Hey Loadsey, what did I tell you about the Knights? That it wouldn’t be easy but they would wipe the floor with those pansy Avs. - 1970vintage

You literally cannot cheer for the Bruins and the Habs - 1970vintage
If I've learned anything this playoffs it's that Reuby is a fanwhore. |

Just got back from reading some comments in the Leafs blog, lol.

Of the remaining teams, I won't be cheering for Tampa or Vegas. I am not really cheering for Habs either, as I don't like the Canadiens, but like a few of their players.
Plus, sometimes my hockey pool picks make me cheer for teams i don't usually like. |

We could scour the internet, for all eligible players in any draft and find hi-lites for those eligible players.
This team has bigger needs than getting Quinn junior. |

Agree but if he's there if Clarke is gone you take him. Mactavish would be a good 3LC agree but he's three years away. FA isn't that patient lol |

I really don't see any of the top 4 defensemen being available at 9.
I also think McTavish is a lot closer to being nhl ready than you think. |

Regardless of which players they select, they should absolutely rush them into the NHL. There is no way any of them could have anything more to learn in those junior leagues and the Canucks are desperate to show the fans what a young, fast, playoff team they have. |

9. Vancouver Canucks: Mason McTavish, C, Peterborough Petes (OHL)
The Canucks have some excellent wingers and solid defenders in the ranks, but what they could use is another potential top-six center to one day work behind Elias Pettersson. McTavish is a big body that has excellent puckhandling skills and is a very smart playmaker. He looks strong playing overseas in Switzerland this year and brought that to his World Under-18 performance. This could be an excellent fit for the Canucks.
9. Vancouver Canucks
Kimelman -- Kent Johnson, C, Michigan (NCAA): A high-end playmaker with great vision and some flair to his game. He's elusive carrying the puck and strong enough to win battles along the walls. He also showed his versatility this season, excelling on the wing and at center in his first college season, and should get better as he gets stronger.
Morreale -- Brandt Clarke, D, Barrie (OHL): A mobile, puck-moving righthanded shot who is considered an excellent passer and playmaker with great vision. He scored 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) and was plus-6 in 26 games on loan with Nove Zamsky in the Slovak Extraliga, the top professional league in Slovakia.
9. Vancouver Canucks: Brandt Clarke
A lack of skilled blue-line depth contributed to the Vancouver Canucks giving up the third-most shots-against per game (33.4) this season. They could use a defenseman such as Brandt Clarke of the Ontario Hockey League's Barrie Colts. The 6'2" 185-pound blueliner played well this season on loan with Nove Zamky in the Slovak Extraliga. TSN's Bob McKenzie cited his high-end, two-way game as a standout attribute.

9. Vancouver Canucks: Mason McTavish, C: Talk of the town in Texas at the U18. Showed he’s more than a one-trick pony and did so with some bite.

Did I say anything about rushing a player?
If a player is ready to go out of training camp, do you send them back to Juniors, because the team looks desperate for inserting a top draft pick into lineup? |

It's great that we put the Presidents Trophy behind us and focus on Calder votes, instead. |

I wonder if or when the fans will get over losing to the Bruins in 2011. |
