Whew. We played our hockey those last 5 minutes. That’s the difference.
Hope Dobson wasn’t playing because of Trotz and not an injury. - potvin05
He was pretty putrid tonight fairly certain he was out because of that. |

44 shots on net and we still lose. Tough loss.
Congrats on the win. - Nasty_Duck
Danke, Nasty.
How was Swayman in the regular season? I seem to remember him getting some starts. |

I'm assuming Barry shortened his bench in the final minutes. He trusts his veterans, not youngsters like Dobson. |

He was decent. So decent some clowns on the interweb were thinking he should be our starter.

Not Injured. He’s sat him late in the close games in the Pittsburg series as well. |

I’ve never understood all the hate Rask receives from his own fan base. |

Odd as it is to say for a guy who gave up four goals, Varly was great when it counted. And Barzal is just an awesome hockey player. |

Ok that’s what I figured too. It’s just smart to keep out towards the end of the game but I do like Dobson on the PP. |

Barry's best coaching job of these playoffs. Pushed all the right buttons. |

He made a couple of real strong defensive plays the last five mins. The kid is hungry to win out there. |

I mentioned the possibility early; Barry sort of took the edge off of the Bruins home line change advantage by jumbling the lines a bit. Subtle change, but a great example of how a great coach can make such a difference. |

Casey has been a monster in this series. That hit on Pasternak with about 3 minutes left was great too. Faceoffs, checking, his work in the corners, penalty killing, he’s checking all the boxes right now. |

Team did not collapse with the changes and it keeps the players on their toes. |

Barzy made a play late in his own zone to power through a check and work the puck up along the boards and out of the zone. Along with his goal and assist, that was a massively important effort at a time they appeared in big trouble. |
