Exactly right. House money. Islanders will no longer be taken lightly. Maybe by Tanner.
- ses111

If they can win this series they will be heavy underdogs again vs. the MUCH MORE TALENTED .. Tampa or Carolina who both beat them in playoffs recently..

If by some miracle they get past that round.. they are once again heavy dogs to the uber talented... Vegas, Col, or Habs. .. love it

Palmieri was really a terrible trade.. should have gotten Hall for sure...

You can also throw Zajac in there as well because he has played a prominent role in this series.

Cassidy female doging about calls again. Anyone remember Mayfield getting cross checked to the back of the head right in front of ref and no call. Just one example.

It's really amazing how much Boston coaching, fans, reporters and their fans don't see a friggin thing they are doing every single game. If you bring up Mayfield getting elbowed in the head they will say he flopped. He took a friggin Elbow right to the chin. His head snapped back 2 feet.. u think he flopped?

Same with Barzal when he got speared in the nuts. Their coach insinuated he went "down pretty easy on that one" .. someone should have kicked him in the nuts on was off the podium... boy.. Bruce u really went down easy on that one.

In that game they ripped off at least 4 Islander's helmets. The one on Palmieri where he tried to pull his friggin head off by the ear strap comes to mind.

They tackled Beau in the start of the 3rd period, Marchand constantly finished every check with a cheap shot slash or cross check to neck. took runs at Pelech the whole game, stick to Barzal's face... and then whined about calls. It's truly amazing.

The Bruins are used to getting away with most of the crap they do. They’re pretty well known for it and good on them they do what it takes to win. Tampa does the same routine and plays with an edge. Boston crossed the line a few times and paid for it. They also got away with a lot as well and got handed a couple of power plays on phantom calls. They’re lucky a couple of their players didn’t get 5 min majors and suspended instead of joke 5000 dollar fines for infractions the last couple of games. Seriously that’s why it’s embarrassing.
- Cptmjl

What do you mean "used to it"? Bruins are almost always one of the most penalized teams in the NHL. They don't get away with anything. EVERY team has infractions that don't get called.

Maybe your coach should spend some time talking to his team about not doing stupid sht then and less time crying about the refs. How many Bruins fans today are going nuts on the slashing call you guys took in first period but fail to mention we took 2 of the exact same soft calls later. If you stick a guy in the face, elbow a guy in the head, and tackle a guy entering the zone...eventually one of those are going to be called.

https://twitter.com/isles.../1402042761554059267?s=20 This look like a friggin flop to u? No penalty..

this look like a tackle or no? nothing called.. https://twitter.com/MattO.../1402212445574270982?s=20

Only difference is our coach didn't take his mask off and scream at the refs for the next 10 minutes and then cry about it after the game.

Play hockey and STFU

Still can't believe they dismantled that team.. such a good "team" and they refused to pay any of them.

Bill Torrey did so many wonderful things but hiring Don was not one of them.

spitting chicklets healy interview where he talks about that summer being in Ireland with a bunch of his teammates and finding out the Isles wouldn't pay him so he signed with Rangers kills me. He got to sit on bench for Rags cup and we got Hextall who was worse goalie I have ever seen in playoffs vs. Rangers.. period.

Not to give Maloney or Milbury a pass but money was a big factor in the Isles trouble.

If they got called for everything they would be the MOST penalized team in the NHL.

Like I said good on them for playing with an edge but if you play that way you’re going to get penalties. Boston is pretty well known for consistently playing that way.

He has had a tough time. Dobson will be so much better from this experience though. Cannot wait to see how Bolduc does with his talent and this coaching staff.

EVERY team does stuff that's not called, even the Islanders.

And I'm not whining about Bruins being penalized. I was pointing out that Bruins are not special and are not somehow favored. They get called for infractions at least as much as the opponents.

You tell me how many "fans" are going nuts. You have a count?

Fans should start a cassidy chant at the Coliseum tomorrow. Moron should be fired after running his mouth like a spoiled child
