It's much better for me to pick on other teams. Picking on my Red Wings is easy and depressing.
Hearing Roger whine about the Isles for 4 years in the Leafs blog made me like the Isles more. I've always liked Trotz even in his Preds days. - gergeswillems
Yeah - picking on your team is like picking on a r_ _ _ _ _ _ d child.
Get some pride and win some so we can trash you too.
I'm not crying. It was a joke FFS. Yeesh. - Nasty_Duck
This is going to be an absolute battle tomorrow night. Game four was the best game I’ve seen in years. It was incredible and I’m assuming tomorrow will be close to if not better then that brand of hockey.

There will certainly be some desperation - a lot like 3rd period last game I'd guess.
That I’ve seen I agree. The Vegas series is pretty awesome also but this one has been fantastic. The last series against the Pens was a bit of a snoozer imo.
I have no problem with lou. I hope he resigns Palms going to be tough but they have to at this point. - Hockeyislife
So you hate the 3rd winningest coach in nhl history who's taken the team to at least the 2nd round 3 straight years which only 2 other teams have done in that span?

The last fifteen mins was by far the most stressed I’ve been the entire playoffs. In fact you can probably combine all of my stress from every game and it wouldn’t equal the last fifteen mins of last night.
That took years off my life I thought the Bruins were going to score and if they did I think they would’ve won. They had some serious momentum and the isles were backing off a bit too much for my liking…

During a time of great middleweights, Hagler was simply the best of the best. That fight against Hearns was great..........like this series. - JohnScammo
Man how did those 2 take those direct shots to the face? Both were tough as nails! 👍
Almost like with the addition of those two and greene and pageau last year that Lou knows what he's doing - Upstate_isles
Lameriello is and always has been all about character. Through the years that has gotten him into trouble with loyalties to players that time had come and gone and obviously some great success but with this group it’s the perfect fit. These guys for the most part have been playing for years. Have won a bunch and lost a helluva lot more as a group. They’ve earned where they are right now.
I’m not saying we’ll win this series we may not but this group earned it. They’re playing for each other. Sick of stupid people blaming goalies, refs, God. Every, single team this team has beat in a 7 game series in the last three years has been followed with excuses. According to anyone besides Islander fans we somehow have made it to the 2nd round and the ECF on pure happenstance the last three years. Shut the (frank) up already you all sound like idiots

Hockey fans are not used to seeing teams devoid of superstars (Barzal isn’t one imo) succeed. Most can’t wrap their heads around the concept that hard and smart play can beat raw talent.
