Yeah I dont really think anyone needs to be fired whether they win or lose this series. It is hard to win playoff series.

Barry "the greatest coach on the planet" Trots according to Shady, NBC and the other buffoons in here commenting has won about 11 or 12 playoff series in his 24 year career. (took a quick look did not calculate) Yeah, he has been better than Laviolette and the Capitals lately but that isn't all that difficult.

The organization is pretty strong at this point and Sweeney has done a solid job since that draft. He was over his head in that draft and a fresh GM. Big miss obviously. Barzal and Connor are studs. So is Chabot. He did hit on McAvoy who is a step above Chabot. The NHL draft is generally a crap shoot.

and thats part of the reason they are so stuck on given DeBrusk chance after chance after chance. To prove that they didn't blow that draft. Other story I heard was they completely expected to trade all 3 pics to get (Hanafin? forget exactly) and they had no plan B since they thought they had a done deal.

If you were going after Hanafin that's fine. I liked the ambition. But there was no backup plan? Cause it looks it then and sure as panned out that way now that there was no (frank)ing plan past all in for Hanafin.

Looking at old draft predictions some had Zboril right where he was taken. I can't still figure what the (frank) anyone saw in DeBust and Senybust to reach for the.

NBC calling it a coming out party is absurd and proves they have their own heads far up their arses not that anyone didn’t know that already. The guy is still a beast with Leo Komarov on his line which there should be separate award for in itself

I’m not blaming the refs, I’m just reporting what was the biggest comments postgame, and the exact same thing that several others wrote about postgame. I guess that makes us all whiny children for writing about it. Are the Islanders writers who wrote about Trotz’s Bergeron comments whiny children as well?

That was a mind boggling draft for the Bruins. I know there were a few teams worried about Barzal’s knee because he was injured at the time of the draft but there were zero indications that there would be long term negatives associated with it.
