I know JTM did not like Schmidt. I read an article about a month ago where Miller told him " Dude get away from me , I just can't be near you today" It was JTM quoting the article .

Came back with largely the same team (Perry, Polak, Cogliano, Johns, Bishop OUT) (Robertson, Kiviranta, Keto, Dyllandrea, Oettinger IN)
Stated the season with 17 players catching covid - missed over 2 weeks.
Coach complains about NOT getting practice time and obviously having conditioning concerns.
Team goes 7-13 through first 45 days (Van played first 20 in 35)
Sequin misses most of the season
Miss the playoffs

I don’t think they’ll be as fortunate/good as Vegas, with other GM’s being so dumb, but I think the rules will make them a fairly competitive team.

That Jonathan Marchessault is something. Undrafted, has played for 4-5 teams already, and is always noticeable and at times a difference-maker.

Hear hear for the undrafted players! Makes those first overall bust that much worse.

Ya i don't think they will get the same opportunities as Vegas either, but, they may load up on defense, which will allow them to make some nice trades afterwards.
I think Francis will try get enough decent players to be competitive and load up on picks.
