I would love to see a Edler / Woo pairing next season , let the Eagle mentor the young guys on the way out.

Listened to Shaw interview as suspected he's going to run all aspects of the team with Green. He's a Trotz type and if JB needs a fall guy like Green Shaw can HC. At least he can teach Baumer what to do to improve defensively.

Role - associate coach (without title) to Travis. Have his hand in almost everything. Helping out all coaches. Going to be PP coach.

I really think if JB wants to be aggressive, trade Schmidt for forward help , sign A.Larrson to partner with Hughes, rotate OJ , Rathbone with Myers, and play a pairing of Hamonic and Edler while getting Woo , and others game time

Kids are in bed I can finally listen to the last 12 minutes. This guy is going to revamp this hockey club..... I mean he talks an intelligent game. So does Green at times but can't ever get his players to do what he talks about.

Currently listening to him talk about how few cross checking penalties Myers is going to take this year.

Therein lies the rub... but, if he's able to actually create a solid defensive system/teamwork, I'm allllll for it

You mean problem was players lack of execution. Shaw said Green liked that he has different approach. So seems they'll combine strategies to come up with something better.

I can see why haven't just given him the defence. It's about everyone playing the game the right way for both forwards and defenders.
