Benning shouldn't make trades and stay out of free agency.
He does better with the waiver wire. - VanHockeyGuy
Maybe Benning should just be head of the draft department then? |

Benning and Green will survive if they make the playoffs...50/50 imo |

I really think chants are going to start really early in the season at the arena. I think Green will survive.
Three years later we will be flying a new banner behind a plane to fire someone else. |

I was under the impression the Canucks were trying to get younger. What do they do, trade for a 6 million dollar#4 defenseman, who is half the defenseman as the guy he was brought in to replace, but hey he is only turning 30 thos year, so 16 months younger than Tanev.
I can't believe the crap this fanbase gobbles up, when it comes to some of these acquisitions.

Yup. But to be fair, fans can be fanatical and I respect the loyalty but the excuses have to stop. Most successful businesses have bosses who are accountable regardless of the reasons for failure.
JB has been the master of dodging accountability. |

Chanting in the upper bowl yes, lower bowl not so much. Most of the folk in the lower bowl are more interested on what’s happening on Facebook or Twitter or SnapChat. When you look around most are corporate types that are completely disconnected from the game and only react when a goal is scored.
It can be frustrating for a fan of hockey to sit amongst them. |

A fu cking monkey could have drafted at least what he has gotten for this team.
I am not sure how a GM that has this many high draft choices, and has as little to show for it, as Benning does, while still maintaining his job.
I am not going to continue beating this dead horse.
As I said a couple weeks back, I am somewhat optimistic that this off-season will go decent and some nice changes will be made, before the season starts.
I reserve the right to change my mind after draft and free agent day. |

They're either going to rotate 4 days on, 4 days off... or they're just going to swap name plates every so often and people won't be able to tell them apart.
It'd be real nice if they had a good cop/bad cop routine while dealing with other GMs and agents |

It’s crazy. As soon as the 50/50 is announced they’re gone. Ten minutes to go in the third and they are streaming out. I guess they want to beat the lineup at the Shark Club.
Not sure if the shark club is still there. As you can tell my season tickets ended back in 2014. |

Maybe just maybe they find different departments they like and team has a president than one Sedin has the amateur side and the other has the professional side and co GM.
At least we know they would work together. They are good at that. |

In the lower bowl of a Canuck game?! I think not. Going to see a Lion’s game is a fraction of the cost for the Canucks. Most Lions fans I know wouldn’t pony up that kind of dough. They were more likely to see a Giants game back when they played in East Van. |

I wouldn't joke about it, it's very possible they end up in senior management quicker than you think. |
