Welll son you’re going to here of him lots next year as he drives to the net around that pylon Schmidt to score on Bubbles. - K-man25
Dad, is that you finally after all of these years? That's great, Mom says you owe 50 years of alimony and back child support. |

Last year was unbelievable how many things went tits up.
It was like a curse of the usual curse. A curse on steroids. - VANTEL
I'd expect no less from the year we celebrated the Canucks 50th Anniversary.

Can you guess which two players missed the most games for their team this year? |

When the bad contracts expire, this team has the capability of turning things around, and quickly. Beagle, sutter, LE, roussel all gone will help this club in more ways than just cap relief. |

I hope we see Sutter back one more only as prospects get more time . I don't think we will see the other three.
Someone said Sutter will end up in CGY , that sounds probable seeing they will probably give him 4 x 4.5 |

Even if the names you posted are gone, there’s still a few remaining that need to fu ck off (Myers & Schmidt) and then hope JB doesn’t do anything stupid from this point onward. |

the team has to ride out Beagle/Roussels/LE's/Virtanen contracts next year. No one is going to trade for them, so just let it ride one more year and start building for 2022/2023.
Boeser/Rathbone will be the two notable players that will need contracts in 2022/2023, so as long as Benning doesnt muck up any free agent signings or trades, we should be able to easily sign them both. |

Pretty much . The only thing missing was Tanev scoring a hattrick and a Markstrom scoring an empty netter. - VANTEL
I think Markstrom shutting them out is basically the same thing as scoring a goal, just as rare. |

“We’re going to be aggressive on the trade front and in free agency.” - RealityChecker
his original plan of saying "i can see this team being competitive in 2 years" was an actual true and proper statement. 2022/2023 would be a good year to start fresh with a good young core, he would have all of them minus podkolzin and perhaps hoglander signed, and he wouldn't have any anchoring contracts looming minus Schmidt and Myers.
The fact that again, he wants to expedite the process and be "aggressive" on both fronts is extremely scary, cause he could undo so much in just one off season. |

Ya, that scares me. Also, feeds right into his inability to keep to a timeline (like VHG posted from Gillis, no discipline). Last year he said two years away, so why be aggressive in free agency this year? |

Who you going for for the cup?
I want VGK or the Bruins - VANTEL
Colorado over Tampa final in my pool and I'm sticking to that. I think VGK will fizzle out as will BOS. Hopefully lol |

I'm hearing EDM as well. Him and Russell are best buds and where Sutter has an acreage it's only a 1 hr drive to Rexall in EDM> |

I hope Vegas win this year but think it is TBL to lose. If Vegas win it this year they will tie the Oilers for quickest team to win since expansion of a 6 team league.

The story lead off with the team being cap starved(paraphrasing), which is only somewhat true. The team had some choices to make, on where and who they were going to spend money on, they made the wrong choices...again. |

What the (frank) are you whiners concerned about? He literally has $25,000 in cap space? I mean I guess he could trade our next 5 first round picks for cap space but that seems unlikely |
