I was ready for Jack Eichel in 2015.

Who are we supposed to be ready for in 2029?

As I recall there's a story from draft day where Darcy and another GM who was slated to pick directly after him made a deal where they agreed to trade the pick if each team wanted a different player. They both wrote down a name on a piece of paper and flipped it over.

Wonder if the Sabres and Kraken could make a deal like that.

Sabres give the top pick to the Kraken (assuming they want different players) as compensation for the expansion lottery.

Kraken get to say they got their 1st overall pick

We honestly don't need wallstedt we have 2 very good Goalie prospects and i'm probably the only one but cossa will be better

I'd gamble on Cossa with 33, personally. Gotta remember, these guys are years away. Wallstedt probably 2-3.
