A good listen if you didn't hear it, people might have to reset. - Buff36

Not Cap issues, could have protection issues, just like Minnesota could have issues in that aspect. And with Tampa not having a 1st or 2nd this year or a 2nd next year, maybe something could happen. - Buff36
I suppose it’s worth a call
But if I’m Tampa, I’m either paying Seattle to not take Sergachev/Cernak (pick in ‘22?),
or I’m going 4-4-1 to protect the main 4 defensemen & letting them take Palat & his Cap off our books
Who were u thinking we might be able to get from them in a trade? |

Blue jackets hire their assistant coach. Some random guy.
That’s a very Buffalo move - Sabretooth9
Dominos!!!
Puts Galant in NY. (Speculation)
Rod not leaving Carolina (speculation) |

I understand that, but the injury situation is gonna affect things. |

We want better for Eichel.
That’s why the people on the byfield bandwagon. Byfield is a giant question mark still. He didn’t show much in the ahl
For jack eichel. That’s not remotely close enough - Sabretooth9
For an 18yr old in the AHL, he did better than average
I’d be happy with Byfield as the main piece coming back for Jack
I’d want their 1st this year & next as well
And also 1 more prospect/young player....
especially if we are taking Cap back from them like Quick &/or Maata |

While I doubt Rod the bod is leaving Carolina. If I’m Adams and im friends with him. Slide him a blank pegula check and give him what ever he wants
And I definitely think gallant signs with the rangers |

They’re preparing to “tank” i think
Seth Jones is likely getting traded too
They took their shot, but came up short
Time to reload for them |

I don’t think so. Eichel is here for 5 years Adams should be in no immediate rush |

There should still be plenty of teams interested in Jack anyways, and that’ll drive the price up |

If we are rebuilding, who cares?
He can help us tank & get Wright & then Bedard |

Can’t see them moving Cirelli
Foote could be a possibility
Makes sense that Tampa wouldn’t wanna tempt Seattle with picking him over one of their expensive-ish forwards they need gone |

Ok, that’s fair
Wonder if Brind’amor would agree to that type of plan though? |

Yes but it depends on there protection list, that's why I am calling, will you get a bite, probably not, but you just might. |

I think Skinner is a dealbreaker for Rod. Don't see him having any interest |

Not saying i wouldn’t
But paying him a lot of $$$ for 2-3years when we are getting our butts kicked might not be on the Pegulas wish list
Granato could be a nice bridge for much cheaper until we’re “ready” for that good coach to come in & help us start winning
And the bigger question....
would he agree to come here & coach a team that’s getting whipped for a couple years |

What pieces are we gonna get for Eichel to help us win NOW ?
I don’t see it
Time for another rebuild unfortunately
That doesn’t mean tanking necessarily
But we will be losing for a few more years while the kids in the “new core” grow up |

I want Granato, but Rod the Bod would be a get. And if done right it shouldn't take 3yrs to be competitive. |
