Would still trade for Debrusk.... or Domi
- NewYorkNuck

Give up what?
No fan of Domi.
Debrusk tailed off & seems a tweener. Need a C which neither are.

Well is he worth the 9oa & fill need is the real question?

I’d say yes given he is already playing & on a good contract. Some may think a steep price but idk if can expect the pick to be more important or as valuable or turn into a better piece.

Other opinions?

- Nighthawk

Is he worth 9oa, not even (frank)en close.

Is there a difference? I have the NHL package, whenever a US game is on the volume is off and background music on. Those guys are painful.

Most of what was written in this article has been discussed in here quite a bit, so nothing new, other than, Schmidt playing big minutes, I believe he was the 4th in minutes on the defense.

Adrian Dater is the guy who lost his nut on Vancouver radio after the Steve Moore incident with Bert. When I say lost it, I mean totally lost it.

The bigger problem is anyone can get a media pass. Write a blog or run a podcast and you are the new media.

I loved when Green at the end would ignore or say next.

Volume is on but can't say I listen too hard to most. Over the past few years I've found Carolina and Chicago commentators to be very good. Colorado has some nice looking females. Boston still the largest homers, Caps not far behind.

Very few of these "new-age media" ask good questions. They were upset when Green was asked about how Vesey was(new-age media darling), and Green said "okay" and moved on.

Will Scouch June rankings with tiers.

Yes, I'm still on the Aatu Raty train. Scott Wheeler's excellent profile of him from this week illuminated many things that I had caught onto with regards to his confidence, comfort level, and uncertainty with himself that were very clear to me through his play on the ice. He's a goal scorer who struggles to score goals on paper, but there is so much more to Raty than that. He's a mobile and skilled centre with a solid frame and tons of potential. He was absolutely dominant at the U20 level, and looked much improved post-World Juniors snub. He wasn't getting a ton of help from his linemates, and still managed to get shot attempts off from dangerous areas at a very high rate for a pro player. The signs are there for hope, but I can't ignore the risk if he never figures it out. Still, with his profile, I can't see a world where he isn't some kind of contributor with the fundamentals he possesses.

Sounds like Podkolzin from his draft year.

Brandt Clarke is another one of those time machine players. He consistently struggles to maintain control transitioning pucks offensively, but his abilities in the offensive zone cannot be denied. His ability to shake defenders, step into the offensive zone for better looks, and sustain pressure is remarkable. His fluidity on his feet allows him to cover ice, block lanes, and challenge opponents effectively. He's much less effective shutting down defensive entries, but he's no slouch in that area. I could see him going much higher, but I've got questions that haven't really been answered, even after his excellent U18 tournament.

If you want a Dman that can play defence in this draft outside of Power, it's probably Edvinsson or Lambos.

If you went by Will's rankings, I absolutely would trade down with Clb or Min to pick twice in the 1st. Ceulemans and Othmann at 41 and 42 is just absurd. Pinelli at 30.

Media is very different these days. I have seen near a dozen times them even calling each other hacks. Even yesterday I believe Fararro called Sekeres a hack selling BS after he posted that Owen Power statement about going back to college. He said Sekeres made it up that Power never said that ?

I only seen a little on it because mostly I don't care but I have muted most media.

"So, in their fourth year, the Golden Knights have already tied the Canucks, who’ve been around for half a century, in 3rd round appearances with three? Cool. Happy Friday to you too."

If JB's guy is still there, hell ya to trading down. He say's he has his 9 guys, one or two teams will jump off the consensus train. Maybe someone in the top 9 takes G Jesper Wallstedt. That said JB's not the gunslinger type and will play it safe.

I am going to take a wild guess and say Benning has more than 9 guys. Dim Jim is just trying to up his value on the pick. If you want this pick it is going to cost you seeing I only want one of these 9 guys. I believe that they probably have some one at #15 or 24 that they would like also.

In seven drafts he's never traded down with his first round pick, has he? I seriously doubt he trades down, even if he did, someone would take advantage of him due to his lack of intelligence.

Adrian Dater Is not “new” he’s been the Avs beat writer for ever. He just has substance abuse and anger management problems. That’s why the Denver Post fired him years ago. This was a veteran reporter asking a question while he was intoxicated.

I’ve liked that sports “reporting” has opened up to many outside of the MSM. I can choose who to listen to now while before I was fed sports opinions from a select few.

I believe he has a history of mental health issues. Not an excuse, just a tidbit I heard.

But I agree with Civ, listening to the questions some media members ask can be painful. It’s like journalism school isn’t a requirement anymore, or schools are just passing everyone because they don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings.

I don't think they are trading down either . I think he is just cutting to the chase . If you want this pick it has to be a hell of an offer.

I think if he did trade it would be for a top 4 D or a guy like Reinhart.

Maclean is a tool and Cassie Cambell is impossible to watch. Bieksa and Jenn Botterill are great. Unless Bieksa is on I just mute the SN/CBC garbage and go with the US feeds. Agree CHI has some good broadcasts.

I have Pinelli in the mid 1st and Ceulemans/Othmann in mid 20s. Wtf do I know though, I had Hoglander in the 1st a couple years back.
