Shanahan is entering year three of a six-year contract extension and although the club has reached the level of being a legitimate Stanley Cup contender...
I feel like this team is further from it than they were in 2017. I remember that team having a chance to get back into a game if they were down by 2 and had 5 minutes on the clock. I couldn't help but feel that it was over when Montreal went up 1-0 this year.

A close friend of mine died today.
A great guy. Strong as a bear.
Facking cancer - 21peter
Deepest sympathies, Peter. One of my uncles just got diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer about a month ago. He's in his early 70s and has 6 - 12 months they estimate. How old was your friend?

Nah just need to play better in the playoffs. And get away with more dirty stuff than the other team. Eliminate some of their star players without taking a penalties or suspensions. Like getting a $5000 fine for deliberately injuring a player

That's great to hear, thank you. We're all pulling for him just wish there was more I could do to help. He lives in PA so I can't even help take some of the load off my aunt by shopping/cleaning/cooking etc... all the stuff that still has to happen when taking care of a loved one undergoing treatment.
