That is reaching deep. I think Giants will continue to be supported by Langley/Surrey
Abbottsford will be supported by Abby Chilliwack Hope. Some Langley . - VANTEL
As I said before, I hope that maybe they work together like Calgary does with the Hitman. |

It’s really selfish of the Canucks to move the farm to Abby. After they chased the Giants out of Vancouver to the Langley Event Center, then move next door to them. - K-man25
Next door,,lol. Not really close and it's a good spot for the people far up the valley, mission, chilliwack, Toigo was radio saying both would thrive.

20-30 minutes apart is fairly close. Hopefully they realize the Dub is a feeder league and needs to survive |

Valeri Nichushkin 1 year left at 2.5M
Colorado may not chose to protect him. Van has space. I'd give up a B prospect plus a 5th or 6th round pick in this years draft.
Nichushkin can help Podz settle. |

Sorry "should have been"
What about Seth Jones? should he have been.

Seth Jones was not named a Finalist for the Norris Trophy today.
Nonetheless he had a great season emerging as a #1 D!
D WAR: -1.42 (Dead last)
D EVO WAR: -0.2 (30th from last)
D EVD WAR: -0.76 (8th from last)
D Shooting WAR: -0.45 (6th from last)
D +/-: -18 (11th from last) |

There’s no doubt that history bias played a part in Hedman getting votes. Jones is trash. Quinn Hughes is a better defenseman… |

Maybe Jones is pulling a Dion and peaked early.
Jfresh twitter saying how terrible Samuel Girard has been in the playoffs. Wasn't as bad in the regular season because he didn't have to spend much time in the Dzone.
Same was said about Nashville's defence a few years ago. Great until they have to spend extra time in their own zone.
Going to go out on a limb but I don't think there is a single defender in the league that gets better the longer they spend in their own zone. |

Tyler Myers is better at 1:50 of his shift than at 0:50.

Myers does have excellent stamina, hes made some great defensive plays at the end of long shifts. Bodes well for future playoff runs |

Is that when he's just laying flat on his stomach in front of the net, flailing around like a fish? |

Completely under-rated around the league. The Canucks are very fortunate to have him for such a long time at a bargain rate. |

So looking forward to the off-season. Hopefully Benning looks at Tampa for a 3rd line centre. Tyler Johnson would be a steal of a deal and should only cost a 3rd round pick.
Benning is real good at robbing teams of there expensive talent, could be 3 straight years of Benning robbery. |

They don't have a lot of picks for this season. 1st 3rd 7th only.
They might want to do a bit of reshuffling for next season after failing again this year and they might just say "(frank) it".
Maybe Sakic makes some trades, maybe he doesn't. A lot to work with. |

Could probably get Kadri for next to nothing. Would be an elite 3C for next season. |

Myer's might be better if he just spent less time in his own zone. Canucks need more transitioning forwards. William Eklund and Kent Johnson are very good at that.
Canucks also need smarter players
and more physical players
better shooters
faster skaters
