I would say Habs having greater depth than the teams they have faced so far has been a main key to their winnings.

Not saying Petry missing from the line-up is not a big loss, but they have been dealing with injuries and line-up changes since the start, so I do not think it will be problematic in that sense.

Just need Romanov to lay a few big hits and help make the Vegas players scared to pay the price in getting to the prime scoring areas on the ice.

Gustafsson barely plays the whole game.

I say give him the full 2 minutes of powerplay. No need to tire Chiarot even more to replace Petry.

Or use Romanov.

Well, you can’t tell me that’s not what they’re missing. The loss wasnt on their D, it was on the lack of killer instinct to put the Habs down asap

they also need a shut down goalie. someone who could have weathered that Habs storm in game 5 and who would not have given up the Gallagher goal in game 7.

Dude buying my house is forcing me to get a new localisation certificate since mine has been expired for 2 (frank)ing months (nothing has changed on the land sinze I bought). (frank) that guy, was thinking about leaving him some stuff (pool products, pellets from the stove, etc), I'm not leaving him (frank) all and will also take stupid stuff like the shower head so he has to buy a new one.

Petry is mtl best defenseman by far. Kulak or Romanov do not replace him, even if he they step up big time.

This is not like missing Drouin or Evans.

if Petry was gone for the rest of the playoffs then of course it would be a huge concern, but knowing he'll be back soon I'm pretty sure they can handle things during his absence on the short term. they got this, no need to panic.

go habs go!!

Winnipeg inexplicably kept dumping the puck behind Price's net and allowed him to act as a effectively a third D. i cannot imagine Vegas will do that. when they dump they're more likely to put it in the corner. and that's where you need Petry to retrieve and move the puck quickly. no one does that better than him on this team.
