Benning will do what's right for this team. He knows these top prospects quite well so I'm sure he's well aware of the value of 9th overall. - Nucker101

That doesn’t sound like fanaticism to me. That sounds like apathy. - bloatedhefty
Apathy doesn't bother clicking on a Canuck thread in the first place...let alone bothering to post a comment. |

The same goes for the excessive pom pom waving before any real success is achieved. At least the whiners have a legitimate reason to whine. There’s no legitimate reason to celebrate yet. - bloatedhefty
I see an exciting young core to be excited about. I’m not hear thinking my chest about success that hasn’t even taken place yet. Meanwhile the whiners are already crying about hypothetical moves that haven’t even been made yet. |

If there's one thing this site has taught me, it's that whiners will always find a reason to whine. Legitimate or not. - Load Management
It is legitimate. I am shocked and disappointed. |

Big deal. I'm kinda hoping you're whining for the sake of whining here or trolling the guild. What are we missing out on trading the 9th overall this draft that can't be picked 40th? - Load Management
Yup - he just likes to yap. The chances of us getting a player of his caliber at 9th in a garbage draft are slim to none |

no doubt. I like myself a good whine sometimes but we are talking Canucks. 51 years of Canuck luck. 51 years of reaching the highest echelon of mediocrity a sports franchise can achieve. 51 years of self inflicted implosion.
You could spend a lifetime just catching up on historical whines let alone contemporary whines. |

Hey, saw it was 115 in Phoenix today. I like it hot but my god that’s hot. |

I used to get a large glass jar, like those a 4 gallon pickle jar, layer of fruit, (any fruit), layer of crushed ice, layer of different fruit, crushed ice, repeat until near top of jar. Add 2 750ml alcohol, i used vodka and Chardonnay. Close lid tight, wrap a towel all around the jar, and shake and shake, pass around everyone has to participate.
Once the towel was completely frozen to the jar we deemed it ready, you don’t notice the kick you get from eating alcohol infused fruit🥴 - Makita
It's for a wedding i'm not so sure i want everyone that hammered so quickly. I'll give it a shot at some point though, we grow so much fruit at home. |

Yup, the ones who have been cheering for this team for 51 seasons, they are terrible, unpassionate and non-loyal. |

No kidding. I thought I was over being a Goalie until I almost fell off the couch last night with Theodore's shot fake. |

Yeah, but the people whining always change depending on what's done. I don't know enough about the prospects to care that much what they do with the 9th overall but there are a few intriguing names there and I suspect this year more than others there will be little consensus among the top 10 picks. |

I didn't see anyone get upset about a hypothetical trade that may or may not happen, what I seen was someone(me) write a comment about being shocked and disappointed with the fanbase, big difference.

Or they're simply voicing their displeasure in the idea of such a move.
It seems like just yesterday you were ragging on Schmidt about something that never materialized. Now the shoe is on the other foot and you're ragging about that. |

Actually, I don't believe this. I believe a lot of Canucks fans only want success, if it has shiny players on the team, while some want a nice blend and some would be fine if they won games 2-1. |

My favorite Canucks are the ones involved in Canuck Management, they're the most dedicated, they'll keep taking a paycheque win or lose. |
