My only issue w Sam is he is a UfA. Need to be a sign and trade. Also he is another soft skilled forward. We need to beef up the bottom 6 if we go this route

He's a 25 year old winger who consistently puts up 20 goals 50 points. With the Canucks core being all of prime age, EP40, Boeser, Horvat, Q. Hughes, Miller, Demko....personally I think giving up the 9th overall for a bird in hand would be a wise move for a team that shouldn't be in the rebuilding process any longer after seven years of good position drafting.

I would be perfectly okay with improving the top 6 and it trickling down to top 9.

I don't really know who is who in this years draft and after doing a lot of reading on it I think there are a lot more than me who don't know either.

I have no complaints if they made that trade.
