Yes, no brainer. Market value for getting off Loui’s final year probably *is* the 9th OA pick anyway, so it’s getting Hamilton done for free.

I am interested to see the teams new system because before it could have been Bobby Orr back there and he would have looked like Pouliot

Canucks should look at using DiPietro as a trade chip to upgrade D or C this season and take Wallsteadt with #9 - he should be ready for the NHL about the same time Demko is up for a new deal.

I do agree that the systems could use some adjustments. Green/Baumer are still young coaches so adding a vet like Shaw behind the bench should help

Dhaliwal on Jasek: I don't think Vancouver see's him as a player who's going to end up playing for the Canucks one day. I highly doubt Canucks will qualify his contract...I think they're going to cut him loose.
