I really honestly don't know

like Carp said in his column, Drury plays this so close to the vest, its hard to get anything out of him and its hard to read him

what I do know is that they didn't fire everybody to stay status quo

I mean, we could all say that. But this is a rumor site, part of the fun is throwing out what we would like to see happen even though 99% of it won’t. So who would u like to see the organization bring in. There has to be 1 or 2 guys that you think would be good fits.

You know who would’ve been a perfect 3C that I wanted for years and got a ton of poop for? Sam Bennet. He was miscast on the 4th line in CGY and now that he’s been given a shot he had 15 pts in 10 games and 5 pts in 5 games in the playoffs. Plays with an edge also, would’ve been perfect centering Kreider on the 3rd line.

I've talked about Christian Dvorak about 100 times as a guy I'd like

I like the thoughts of going after Coleman and/or Goodrow with the understanding that they aren't 4th liners though

but chances are, they'll do things nobody predicted

This is what I want. It won't be as exciting to trade for a random person we have talked about for months on here. I want the surprise element.

Yeah I remember going to a few so that my local soccer club could get us in there to use the turf for an indoor soccer tournament while it was still laid down

The avi was a no-brainer after Cassidy's comments

From one star’s lips to the Rangers stars’ ears: Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad are going to enjoy and benefit from playing for Gerard Gallant.

That’s the way an interested and educated observer named Jaromir Jagr sees it. And he should know, having thrived in Florida in his mid-40s under the Rangers’ new head coach.

“He is tough but friendly and he is honest with the players,” Jagr told The Post on Tuesday from his home in the Czech Republic. “In my opinion, with the players having so much power, that is the way a coach has to be. You can’t threaten to send players down or take away their ice time. That does not work.

“You have to be honest with the top guys and create trust with them. You have to be tough but you have to create the [environment] so players want to play for you and will do extra. That’s the way I see it. And that’s the way he is, not only with the top guys but with everyone, no matter who you are.”

It would be nice to see him return to the NHL in some capacity. He is an absolute treasure.

Any idea when there will be a media session with Gallant?

Interesting quote I found in a post article:

Sources have told The Post that Gallant — who had also been interviewed for the post in Columbus — was offered and accepted the job without meeting Garden chairman Jim Dolan.

Maybe Danal is already bored with the Rangers?

After the Knicks got absolutely handled by the Hawks, Dolan is back to destroying that team rather than the Rangers.

I wonder if the hiring of Gallant creates interest from players who may have previously not given it any thought.

I heard Yashin and DiPietro are coming back to the Isles, 10 yr contracts each to sit in the box.

It's not much of an argument. I'm open to debate but when you tell me I'm wrong and then proceed to explain why I'm wrong by citing a bunch of things that I never posted then you're gonna have a bad time

No, his contract was bought out. He's just still getting paid until the end of the 2029 season
