I wonder if letting Fast go is one of the things Dolan was annoyed at Gorton/JD about

Would be nice to know the exact reasons he let them all go

I'd love to shove a few toes in your mouth after 18 holes of golf on a humid day

i think the hope is he makes us harder to play against, wearing teams down. which is something we did none of under Quinn. Making the blue line more difficult to gain and grinding along the boards more. Admittedly i don't really know much about what kind of offense he ran

They were pretty up tempo in FL and Vegas when he was there, but yeah you are right, the teams always played hard. Energy of his teams was always sky high

Can't wait to see K' Andre use his physicality next year. Think this was a settling in year for him and he was fantastic. Add the physical side and he is going to be a monster. And if anyone suggests trading him, they will be prison shanked

which i think is more important than the tom wilson enforcer factor. yea i'd love someone big and nasty enough (who can also play) to take the tom wilsons of the world on but that comes secondary to being a team that can grind teams down as opposed to one that solely relies on flashy high powered offense. We already have the flash, if we add that energy/hard working/blue collar component i think the sky is the limit

He's 21 and already a monster physically. If he puts serious time in the gym in the offseason he will be an absolute nightmare. Also a team culture shift toward getting a bit grittier should do him wonders. He played like he wanted to make friends out there (not to say he didnt have a wonderful rookie season and isnt brimming with talent)

Exactly! Need "team toughness" will never match up to Wilson. Would be dumb to try to build a team because of that incident.

Yeah, K'Andre is untouchable for me. Him and Fox. Nope no need to discuss a trade with either. Lindgren is close to untouchable for me. He is going to be Gallant's boy

My only worry is he never lasted more than 3 years in any of his past jobs. Just seems odd for such a good coach like everyone says.

lindgren is one of those players who's probably more valuable on the team than anything we could approach in a trade. i often think about who we'd move to make room for players like nils and robertson and anytime lindgren comes accross my mind i immediately dismiss the notion. he's not the best defenseman on a team but he is a guarantee to hold it down every night and plays with heart.

Yeah, kinda weird. But, there is a small percentage of coaches who outlast their initial contract, so I'm not losing sleep over it. If he is gone 3 years from now, but has us playing the way Vegas and Florida have been....
