Miller Isnt Physical, He is Trade Bait!!! - Brukie
So, what are the differences between him and Nils that make K’Andre expendable while the guy who hasn’t played in the NHL yet deserve so much “love?”
Not being a Richard, honestly want to know your reasoning. |

Personally, i think Robertson can be equally as good as Miller. I have Schneider ranked ahead of Lundkvist. |

I also THINK Robertson will be real good. Meanwhile, we KNOW that Miller's starting point is real good.
To me, you keep the known commodity in this case. If Robertson pans out at all like we think, teams won't shy away from him in a trade. |

To put it simple Tony, Its just because Nils gets no love, just spreading the love around.
I wouldnt trade anyone. Its just that simple. We dont know what any of these kids can do. I want to see at least another year of them playing before we start making trades..
But we know that isnt happening with Dolan firing everyone. We know a trade is coming, I just dont want to trade unless it is for as glaring hole, like Center.

Then, I don’t understand calling K’Andre trade bait. Just to start poop?
For the record, I completely agree with you. I don’t want any of these kids traded either, but it is happening. And yes, hopefully for a center. |

Thinking Brukie was just joking around cause I said I would prison shank someone
I also believe Miller has a ton more room to grow. Lets be honest, he started hockey much later in his life. I would bet most players in the NHL were skating before they could even walk correctly. Miller is a complete untouchable for me |

I think you're a little off there.
I believe he was playing, but didn't move to defense until 15 or 16. That’s part of why he skates so well. |

I think this is accurate, he’s become almost an untouchable for me as well. |

If they added another piece I would do it. Maybe young bottom 6 type player or a 2nd/3rd rounder. |

I'm not overly familiar with Kupari but I'm pretty high on Nils like most here. First, I don't think he will be traded this offseason but if he were to be it would have to be in a deal like this where we swap him for a young center. What I will say is I have no interest in a Nils for "X Center" plus picks/prospects. If we are trading Nils I want it to be a one-for-one defenseman for center deal, or a deal where we give Nils +. We have a deep enough prospect pool at this point that I want the best player in whatever deal. No need to send out top prospects for pieces, even if some of those pieces fit a need for the immediate future. |

That’s actually very well said, and I agree. Kupari has a ton of upside, and could end up as the better player down the road, but right now Nils has more value for sure. Would definitely prefer more of a sure thing in return, even if we had to add another piece.

I agree with this overall sentiment, but I dont think there is a realistic price out there that would allow me to trade Lafreniere, Fox or Shesterkin
K'Andre and Kakko just smidge below those three guys |

Buffalo fans are ungodly annoying about the Eichel trade, I really hope it just happens soon
seems like talks are heating up with the Ducks
and one Buffalo writer is like "it would have to START with a package of Zegras and the 3rd overall pick"
I'm like NO
if it's Zegras and the 3rd overall pick THAT'S ALL YOU GUYS ARE GETTING
and you'd be very lucky to get it
Buffalo fans are goddamn delusional |

Maybe i misread but thought that he didn't start playing until much later. That was the whole joke about not having any hockey video of him at the draft. Just football stuff. Either way, K'Andre stays |
