Maybe i misread but thought that he didn't start playing until much later. That was the whole joke about not having any hockey video of him at the draft. Just football stuff. Either way, K'Andre stays

He was definitely playing when he was younger, didn't you guys see him in the Honda commercial way back with Richter?

His problem was with his teammates and his social media stupidity. I dont think the Rangers want him for 5.5. I think they buy him out. He cant be traded cause teams know the Rangers are buying him out and they can sign him for that show me deal.
- Brukie

Show me where he had problems with his teammates except that headcase goalie we have. Also many players are on social media, just because his doesn’t align with libs, too bad!

this is a serious question. why is it exclusively people with NYR or Newyorkrangers in their handles that feel personally attacked by this whole voldemort situation and can never let it go?

Does anyone else think the Rangers could take advantage of having some "open" protection slots? I don't think anyone would blink twice if we lose Hajek/Howden/Gauthier/Blackwell/Rooney. That gives us two open slots that we could use for deals. For example, Nashville has 4 defensemen they need to protect (Fabbro, Josi, Ellis, Eckholm), meaning that they then can only protect 4 forwards. If we were to trade for say, eckholm, giving them an exempt player, that may be a good deal for both sides. We get a good LD and they can protect the other 3 D, plus 7 forwards. Eckholm was just an example but I think we could definitely see the Rangers make a deal like that.

it's not as insane as you think. certain people have come to believe they are part of some marginalized group and in the context of their favorite sport have attached this sense of victimhood to a particular player because that framing reinforces their belief. when the reality is just that player is an bumhole who has squandered every chance he's been given throughout his career

we use a move like that to our advantage but we'd have to clear the logjam we have on D or the wings to make room. The only position we don't have a logjam at is Center

also, you ask for proof of X, Y, and Z for an assertion about one player and then make the assertion that Georgi is a headcase with no proof of your own. That's not how debates work

If the Rangers do that, doesn't it push Miller or Lindgren to the third pair? I don't think that's what they want to do, given their organizational depth -- albeit inexperienced -- on defense. I think the Rangers want to add a 3rd pairing LD for the short-term.

i honestly don't because the people bringing it up are so transparent in why they bring it up even though they never outright say why they are bringing it up. It vexes me greatly. What i think you're picking up is my great affinity for making people explain what i believe to be nonsense i am fully aware that it's not for everybody (ask my wife)

For sure and ekholm was just an example, but in that example lets say we give them Jones. That doesn't add to the logjam of D and gives us a solid D for this year to pair with Lundkvist. Again I'm not saying that should be the deal or that it's a fair deal but having open protection slots can be used as leverage the same way having extra cap space can be so I'd hope Drury can exploit that a bit.

I don't think so. I think he would pair with Lundkvist on the 3rd pair and we'd have three strong pairs that we can roll, which is what Gallant seems to like. You'd have Lindgren-Fox, Miller-Trouba, Ekholm-Lundkvist.

3 years. $1.8 million per. Took less to make sure support staff all got contracts.

Rod Brind’Amour: “I want to make a point, here. I feel like the richest coach in the world. I don’t know how many coaches can do their job where they live, where they’re from, where they’ve had a footprint on everything...the commitment we have from Tom: he wants to win.”

Buffalo fans are ungodly annoying about the Eichel trade, I really hope it just happens soon

seems like talks are heating up with the Ducks

and one Buffalo writer is like "it would have to START with a package of Zegras and the 3rd overall pick"

I'm like NO

if it's Zegras and the 3rd overall pick THAT'S ALL YOU GUYS ARE GETTING

and you'd be very lucky to get it

Buffalo fans are goddamn delusional

- jimbro83

Why you don’t think Eichel is worth four 1st, Laf, Kakko, Shesty, Fox, and your first born?

How often does an employer pay someone over 5 million dollars, just to sit home??

Must have been a small problem somewhere.

Sorry Jim, I had to respond.
