Christ Dude, there is no way he is playing for the Rangers again. Where is he going to play? Who are we taking out for him? He is a gifted scorer, but the dude cannot play in his own end, he is not going to get PP1 time so what will he provide at this point? Is it a $3M upgrade from any of our kids? Brooks was the one who broke the Gallant hire. We all hate him but he is the most in tune beat writer the Rangers have when it comes to breaking news.

I think the most important thing he brings to the table is fighting with fans on Twitter and creating burner Twitter accounts (and possibly hockeybuzz) to, again, fight with fans. Really he’s just incredibly likable and is obviously a victim in this situation. Only 4 chances to behave like an adult for the privilege of playing professional hockey???? When did everyone get so soft

he was traded to Boston in the purge for Rob O'Gara and a 3rd rounder that they used on Joey Keane, who they traded to Carolina for Gauthier

Holden was one of those defensemen treated like crap by this fanbase but plays solid once he leaves

Guy is 6ft. 3, eats minutes and plays good solid D....AND he has friendly salary. Ehh, Whatcha gonna do, but it guys like him that every Stanley Cup team has. Can't have 6 #1 dmen .

Edit: this didnt "happen" because he was being a dbag on twitter. this happened because he was given an ultimatum to be on his best behavior (after getting a penalty for verbal abuse of an official), like a child, and then immediately got into a fight with a teammate after a loss

yup - but i like a bit of bumhole/crazy on my hockey team. honestly prob went nuts b/c he was being paired w/ jack johnson lol

in reality - any of his offensive production from 19-20 pre shutdown was null and void by the emergence of fox. if fox had a sophomore slump who knows how the situation would have unfolded. fox is better is every facet of the game, except the physical side. fox is 100x the player - buy ada out get the $4m or w/e it is back and build this team out.

yes we can. it's not a false equivalency though. it's an emphasis on how that logic doesn't make sense... obviously being an bumhole on twitter is not equivalent to murdering. but to say he is excused because he had the free time to be an bumhole on twitter (he probably still would've been one) is silly. an bumhole is gonna bumhole and a murderer is gonna murder
