The Rangers have displayed increased interest in scoping out Jack Eichel’s medical condition and have had preliminary talks with the Sabres regarding his availability, The Post has been told by several sources – but it is unclear whether general manager Chris Drury is simply performing due diligence or is seriously interested in dealing for the Sabres’ disenchanted center.

I think its just due diligence. I mean technically I want a gm asking about every player available and what it would cost. |

definitely doesnt hurt to find out his medical situation if they can
down the line if he was traded to someone else and got his career turned around and we found out the Rangers never even inquired we'd be pretty pissed
I know Eichel's agents are the same guys that Drury had as agents so I am sure there is a relationship there

If Buffalo is willing to take on some of the cap hit I am interested. I still don’t think they will do a deal with an eastern conference team but have to keep all options open to get better. |

Really the only way I’d even consider it. On top of them taking on some of the cap hit they’d have to accept pennies on the dollar, I doubt a deal is made bc I don’t see BUF doing either. If they were willing to take say 2.5 of the cap hit, I’d be willing to include Kravtsov as part of the deal. If not it would really be something like Chytil Jones Barron 2022 1st |

My boy was born a week ago. I think on the same day as his. Truly terrifying |

Logan Stanley wouldn't be a short term thing on LD until Robertson or another young guy is ready though, he'd be the guy
I wouldn't dimiss it though
very interested to see what kinda money they give Pionk - jimbro83
I’d be fine with him being the guy. A left side of Stanley Miller Lindgren would be a big physical left side. Would also give us the possibility IF and only IF the right deal presented itself to trade Miller for a young promising 1/2C and we felt Robertson was ready. Could still possibly do that and resign Smith as a 3rd pair LHD/7th dman. |

Is it that you think Robertson is going to be better than K’Andre or what? I don’t get why you’re always trading him |

it would be an abrupt change in philosophy for the Rangers to have used all these picks on defenseman to then go out and get someone else anyway like Logan Stanley without giving their own young guys a chance to snatch the spot
granted, the guy running the show is new so maybe he doesn't like Zac Jones or Matthew Robertson or maybe he wants to trade K'Andre, it seems unrealistic
still seems like much more of a chance they'll hold onto their young guys and maybe go out and acquire a short term left defenseman and let them get AHL time in |

I think your delusional. Literally the first time I’ve ever even proposed possibly trading him. All I’ve ever said about him is he’s going to be a beast and top pair guy for years to come. And I didn’t even say trade him, I said it would open up the possibility. |

What a horrible thing.
15 years ago this past week, I was a pallbearer for my close friend's 7 month old. Died on his 1st Father's day. One of the worst days of all our lives.
Quite simply, forever changed. |

There isnt a more horrible experience as a parent than to watch your child suffer or even the unthinkable, pass away.
