I'm not in full agreement regarding the players already here. They need to get into the post season and get exposed to the style of play they need to emulate. I do think they could benefit from some personnel changes but the jury is still out on some of the kids here.

I’d be fine with him being the guy. A left side of Stanley Miller Lindgren would be a big physical left side. Would also give us the possibility IF and only IF the right deal presented itself to trade Miller for a young promising 1/2C and we felt Robertson was ready. Could still possibly do that and resign Smith as a 3rd pair LHD/7th dman.

I think your delusional. Literally the first time I’ve ever even proposed possibly trading him. All I’ve ever said about him is he’s going to be a beast and top pair guy for years to come. And I didn’t even say trade him, I said it would open up the possibility.

Its been me and Burkie who have been open to the idea of trading Miller.

I personally think Robertson is a stud and could be atleast a top 4 pairing LHD. I really want to see what a pairing of Robertson / Schneider will be in a year or 2.

Here's where situation sort of favors us a bit. Lets say we trade Miller in a blockbuster deal for a 1C. What we can do is trade for Morgan Reilly as a one year rental to play left of Trouba. We try to bring in Oleksiak as that physical stalwart for the 3rd pairing along side either Nils or Schneider.
