I haven’t talked about ADA in over a month, someone else brought him up. I say one thing about him and it’s 5 pages of me bringing him up. - nyrangers9479
Someone else mentioned trading him and then you created a lineup with him in it and then followed it up with another post telling us to not be surprised when he’s back why can’t you just admit you are him |

The real issue is the position this has the Rangers in. I hate buyouts so much but this one makes more sense than most. - JRR1285
I agree this buyout is cost effective, but youre still giving up a very good player. Normally buyouts are because players are washed up or suck.
Did anyone other than a fired employee say Deangelo will never play for them again? I don’t see how this didn’t change a little bit at least once the front office got canned. |

the only person who has addressed this is Larry Brooks
until somebody has anything that contradicts Brooks, its a non issue

https://nypost.com/2021/0...deangelos-rangers-status/ - jimbro83 well Drury didn’t say it. It probably won’t happen, all I’m saying is the cons outweigh the pros to getting rid of him. It really is my only point haha
they are not like the lighting where they are absolutely desperate for cap space |

You’re missing my point (which wouldn’t be the first time). I don’t want to keep him lol. I want to trade him
Can people stop insulting my intelligence and just admit that trading him is better than buying him out? Lmao. Can we do this please - Slimtj100
See I don't agree. What value does he have on the market? Rangers trade him they most likely will need to take back a bad contract. I would rather just buy him out and have 4.4 million in free cap space to use |

Could be. I also think it will be Schiefele or PLD before it will be Hertl, Dvorak, Greenway, Crouse and Fischer!
Sidenote: who the (frank) is Fischer?? - Tonybere
Christian Fischer, would come over from Arizona with Dvorak and Crouse. 6’2, 214lbs… 140 hits last season, Crouse (6’4, 220lbs… 155hits) and Fischer would be our 4th line wingers.
Also… what makes you think a team that was in the playoff semifinals are going to trade one of those guys? Hertl is on a team at a crossroads. Arizona is Arizona. |

you guys who keep trading Lundkvist though, I just don't see it
I'd be shocked if they dealt him before he ever plays a game for the Rangers, I really will be

You are making me yearn for your posts of trading for Eichel - Brukie
You are making me yearn for you to get hit by a bus haha
I just think it’s a dumb decision. Suppose he played idk 50 games, and got idk 40 pts? A deadline deal for him would bring us a first rd pick..at worst a 2nd. You know, asset for asset? We are getting rid of an asset all because they have no room for him. That is dumb |

I’m talking about playing him before dealing him. This is not an argument about trading him without any value. That didn’t work this deadline.
I remember he had a hat trick and 5 pt game, I guess I’m the only one |
